Baby Max

I can't believe it was less than 2 months ago that I was taking photos of this little guy when he was still snuggled away inside Mommy's womb (which you can see here).

Kyle and Emily invited me into their home to capture these precious beginning moments of their new life with Max. Despite the fact that Max didn't really prefer being left alone on a blanket to have his photo taken, we were able to capture some very real and beautiful moments :)

Then we headed over to Emily's grandmother's house to snap some photos of the whole family. 

This beautiful woman started a beautiful family, and now she has a brand new great-grandson. 

Isn't the thing called FAMILY beautiful??

Allow me to present Katalina, Gabriella, and Gizella. Three sisters with more love and laughter than I ever thought could exist. 

The redheaded beauty is Gizella, one of my many mom-teachers from middle and high school. She taught me everything from CPR to ettiquette to stop-drop-&roll to the Richter Scale. She's definitely in my top 3 favorite teachers of all time, so I was so excited when she asked me to snap some photos of their little trio. This was their 1st annual Sistas get-together, with many more splendid years to go.

Matt & Kathrin are madly in love. You wouldn't even have to know them to realize that.

There's something magical that happens when two lovebirds catch each other in their gaze.... and let me tell you - the 2 hours I spent with these two was just one big magic show :)

Kyle + Katrina

The fact that Kyle (who works for Verizon) didn't fire me when he found out that I recently switched to AT&T because of my (SWEET) new iPhone says a lot about his character. For sure. I think we will get along juuuuuuust fine.

Kyle + Casey

I could probably write a novel on the adventures I had with Kyle and Casey in our few hours together.... but instead I will just say these few things:

* these two are troopers - through rain, over mountains, with wet shoes and beautiful smiles.

* it's people like these two that remind me how beautiful love is.

* despite waking up this morning to pouring rain, God had our backs and gave us the ingredients for INCREDIBLE photos.

Oh... and I wish these two lived closer. Because we would be great friends :)
