Ryan + Martha [Chardon, OH]

It's been almost 3 years since I first met Martha in musty common room at the YWAM base in Closkelt, Northern Ireland. She brought her prospective "boyfriend" to my wedding in the Summer of last year... and he immediately fell right into place with our group of misfits. It wasn't long before they were engaged... and planning their wedding on my 21st birthday.

The list of things that made this one of the best weddings ever is neverending... but I'll try to give you just a little glimpse of the glory:

* i got to be an honorary bridesmaid / photographer.

* it WASN'T raining, despite the weather report

* dance party most definitely made top 3

* 21st birthay on the 21st with lots of my favorite people

* etcetera, etcetera, etcetera....

The Coleman Family

Family sessions are always a nice change of pace for me. And this family was a blast to shoot. Amy is my cousin-in-law, who drove all the way down from Sacramento with 3 energy-filled children just for these pictures. Ben is quite the character, as is his sister Natalie who is quite the storyteller. And Hazel, well.... let's just say beach mud must be a new teething-soother, because she couldn't get enough of it :)

Chris + Alison [Greenfield, CA]

Chris and Alison got married on Halloween and had the sweetest fall wedding of the century. Their daughter, Madison, is all smiles and loves the camera... so we became good friends fast. And Alison's family's ranch made for some beautiful pictures. It would be safe to say that I was in some sort of heaven :)
