I got to make a quick trip to San Diego last weekend to hang out with these two :) 

Even though the sun came and went faster than we would have hoped for, we had fun exploring downtown and Balboa Park with their baby girl, Haley.

Boudoir

I've had a number of brides inquire about boudoir photography in the past couple years, and this lovely lady was the first to actually do it! However, you can't see her face because it's a surprise for her beau :) 

For anyone who might be interested, boudoir photography (to me) is one of the classiest and heartfelt gifts to give to the man you plan to spend the rest of your life with. Photos like these are timeless, and are the purest form of class and femininity. These are the photos you can show your grandchildren when you're old and wrinkly, and they can say things like "Darn! Look how gorgeous grammy is!"

Halloween

   

If you know anything about me, it is that I have had a vampire-obsession since the ripe old age of 16. Another little factoid about me is that one of the things I love most is playing dress-up. I've found that it is crucial to my life and career to continue taking crazy dramatic and fun photos just for the heck of it. Soooooooo.... that's just what these are!!! And instead of using a self-timer and tripod this year, my husband volunteered (got drafted...?) to play photographer (a job he does quite well, if I do say so). So these are the work of the great Josiah Leader.... edited by yours truly :)
